Monday Night Open Thread

We are now in Day Four of the post Joe Girardi era, and we still haven’t heard anything concrete about managerial candidates. That’ll change soon, I think. Ken Davidoff made a compelling case for Raul Ibanez. I didn’t know Brian Cashman reached out to Ibanez about the hitting coach vacancy a few years ago. Ibanez has no coaching or managerial experience though, so knows whether he’s really a candidate for the job.

Here is an open thread for the night. Today is a travel day for the World Series, so there’s no baseball game tonight. There is Monday Night Football though (Broncos vs. Chiefs), plus the Knicks and Islanders are in action. Talk about anything other than religion or politics here. Thanks in advance.
